How to embed your Photo Slideshow from Picasa Web Lbums

Go to Picasa Web Albums

make sure your album is public

Albums

1. On "My Photos," click your album.
2. On the right, click Link to this album.
3. In "Paste HTML to embed in website," copy the HTML and paste it in the source code for your site.

Slideshows

1. Follow steps 1–2 above for Albums.
2. Select Embed Slideshow.
3. Set the slideshow settings.
4. Copy the HTML and paste it in the source code on your site.

Hi Multimedia Students its me.. Since I asked you to share something about yourselves in your blogs I suppose it is only fair that I do the same. I have been teaching in Sidney now for 33 years and yes that seems like a long time.  One thing that never seems very long is summer.  I try to pack as much into 10 weeks as possible.  Mr. Darling and I love being outdoors so you might have seen us on our road bikes.  We also enjoy backpacking and camping.  

This summer was an epic camping adventure, we visited in 4 different National Parks (Glacier, Rainier, Olympic and Rocky Mountain) and also volunteered for an Archaeological Dig with the US Forrest Service and Bureau of Land Management in Wyoming for a week. 

We have a tent and sometimes we just like to get away from civilization but sometimes we have company.

All of these pictures were taken with my iPhone,  even though I have a big camera I get lazy and big cameras are heavy when you are also carrying all of your food and sleeping gear. If I have one piece of advice, the best camera is always the one you have in your hand!

I also noticed several people mentioned that they enjoyed spending time by themselves and are jealous of their alone time.  This is for you

My Year In Review

To make a year in review slideshow in your blogger you need to go to picassaweb.google.com and upload photos.  Notice this is NOT google plus.  You can sign in using your raidermail account.  Some of the advantages of picasa are the editing tools, the ability to create a movie, it is an older google app but has lots of things you can do.

To create a slideshow in picasa share your album publicly, and choose the Link to Album arrow on the right.

select the options under the <embed> link for size and autoplay

Switch to HTML at the top left of your compose post window and past in the embed code.  Save and switch back to the compose mode.  Click on the Publish button and view your blog.
