Weird and Wonderful Summer Camp Edition

As we move into summer mode I hope some of our multimedia class has been busy snapping and posting. Let me know if you post on your blog, flicker or whatever, I get alerts if you still want to post to the ning. For now I will still post Weird and Wonderful content on our ning and will put additional stuff at Darlingphotoblog, and since we are in Summer Camp mode it won't necessarily be on a Wednesday!
A primo resource for students is the Library of Congress. Did you know the Library houses 14 million images in their prints and photograph division? The Library is making it easier for you to view important parts of the collection by posting sets of them on flickr. THESE ARE PHOTOS YOU SHOULD BE LEARNING ABOUT!!! Here is the information page from the Library itself http://www.loc.gov/blog/?p=515 and the address for the flickr page that is displaying the current selections from the libraryhttp://www.flickr.com/photos/library_of_congress/sets/72157618541455384/show/ These images are iconic masterpieces of black and white photos, you owe it to yourself to study them!
