Dynamite Drawings

General art students have hit the ground running.  I see so many good examples of line drawing that I can hardly choose.  Here are 16 of our best!
Aubry has a really nice sense of composition, and good use of values

I really really like all of the crazy different types of line in Raine's expressive line work, some geometric, some organic

Wow I like this so much, it has such graceful line

Ashley has an excellent eye for the whole page, I like all of her shading and textures too

Here's a complete drawing by Brianna, filled the page without taking away from the main subject.

Jocilyn is another student who makes great use of elegant line and very sophisticated rule of 1/3 in her composition.

Alia decided bigger is better and I agree.  Her arrangement makes a good composition because the positive and negative spaces are well balanced.

Another strong composition by Lindsey.  She uses the empty space to balance the more detailed pattern very well.

Jack is a good addition to the art department.  I liked his use of strong dark values to attract interest.

This expessive line drawing makes use of cross contour lines to make some of her lines appear to have volume.  Very Nice Brianna!

Jocilyn has such clever use of organic types of line to give a focal point and the other lines lead the viewers eye in and around the piece.

Way to go Matthew.  I really like the way you drew the shapes  and filled the page beautiful line!

The longer that I look at Jaydn's expressive lines the more I see, great idea to use the edges of shapes to create line.

Talk about fluency of ideas, wow there is so much here.  I particularly like some of the really dark areas that add depth to the work.

Such nice pattern,  I almost missed the little cross contour heart, glad I spotted it Shayla!

Jonathon has got a creative mind full of weird little doodles!
